Tomorrow's election is to select the person you will be pressuring and complaining about on the day after. That's how it is supposed to work! We're not trying to elect perfect people; we're trying to elect the people who we feel better about trying to push in the direction we want.
So vote! Always vote! Voting is the easiest and first step. But alongside all the pressure we're giving each other to vote tomorrow* there should be a place to remind each other that when the polls close we are still responsible for participating in self-government.
Tolerabimus quod tolerare debemus,
-Vardibidian.
*Many people have already voted, I know, in places where early voting is legal, which it ought to be. If you have already voted in the 2018 general election, please proceed directly to the complaints and pressure part; do not vote again.
