Double rejection
Received two (friendly) rejections in the past 26 hours, for the only two stories I had out. I gotta say, Lightspeed is amazingly fast: 6 hours and 13 minutes from submission to rejection, on a Sunday.
So I looked at market lists, wrote cover letters, converted formats, and submitted both stories to new places. Trying to be casual about it, trying to remind myself that if any given place says no to a given story, there are other places to send it, and there are other stories to send. Alas, am not being terribly successful at achieving casualness.
Am now sorry for all the stress I put y'all writers through over the years.
