Had a headache last night, went to bed early (for me). A little better for a while this morning, but then started feeling nauseous. (I don't hold with those who say that has to be "nauseated.") Ended up lying down for a couple hours this afternoon, napping for at least an hour of that. Feeling a little better, but not enough to go out and do the things I was supposed to do this weekend. Ugh.
Avoiding dealing with world affairs for now. I'm sure I'll want to know all about the fighting soon—and I still have all sorts of things to say, including a piece on pacifism—but not up to dealing with it right now.
I'm sure there are a lot of people in Afghanistan who wish they could make the problems go away just by saying that. Privilege. But I'm not above taking advantage of the privilege I get.
