Five Days in April
I was going through old mail, found a pointer to a good Ursula Pflug story, "Skyrise," at Chiaroscuro. Which led me to poke around on their site a little; decided it was time I read Brian A. Hopkins's Stoker Award-winning story "Five Days in April." Damn good story. It was nominated for the Nebula and the Theodore Sturgeon Memorial Award as well. Warning: it's about an Urban Search And Rescue team working at the site of the Oklahoma City bombing; it's particularly hard to read in light of recent events.
