If you use a Mac, get the shareware program SoundApp (24K).
If you use Windows 3.1, try the freeware Yamp (140K)
On Windows 95 or later, try AWave (450K)
Once you've successfully downloaded the appropriate program, you may need to configure the Preferences of your web browser to use said program for listening to WAV / X-WAV files.
